Brian’s practice is primarily focused on international trading contracts and litigation. Brian has a broad expertise in the field of commercial, transport and (international) procedural law. Brian joined Conway in March 2017.
Brian gained experience with a niche firm with a focus on corporate and commercial litigation. Subsequently, Brian conducted a broad general practice gaining much experience with all kinds of contracts and litigation.
In his harbor and trade practice Brian deals with a wide range of transport and shipping issues, drafting terms as well as being involved in advising and litigation/arbitration on both national and international level.
As an attorney Brian has dealt with various kinds of international commercial contracts, Incoterms, CISG and UNIDROIT Principles. Furthermore, Brian has been involved in complex commercial disputes, shareholders disputes and insolvency proceedings. Brian experienced arbitration procedures before ICC, CIETAC (China) and NAI (Netherlands) Courts.
Brian also frequently joins international conferences on commercial and transport/shipping law as well as on international litigation and arbitration, meeting, sharing and gaining knowledge with and from lawyers from all over the globe.
