Brian is a lawyer with over ten years’ experience in international trading contracts, maritime & transport law and (cross-border) litigation & arbitration. Brian’s practice has strong ties with the Port of Rotterdam, dealing with a wide variety of cases, such as transport and shipping issues, drafting general terms and assistance in corporate (shareholders) and commercial disputes, both on a national as international level.
As an attorney Brian has a broad experience with international commercial contracts, Incoterms, CISG and UNIDROIT Principles. Brian also has a wide range of experience with international arbitration, representing clients at various arbitration institutes, such as ICC, CIETAC (China) and NAI (Netherlands).
